Dear Valued Clients,
Thank you for your continued support during these challenging times. We appreciate the accommodations that you have made in the last month to allow us to continue to serve you in a safe manner. Our policies will evolve as we receive new information from the government and our licensing board.
As essential services, veterinarians in Ontario can remain open to provide urgent care only at this time. We believe this mandate will stay in place until at least the end of May, and during this time we will continue to practice safe physical distancing protocols to ensure that we reduce the risk to our staff, and to you, our clients. If you believe that your animal requires medical care, please call our office to schedule an appointment. We are not able to see walk in patients at this time.
We are continuing curbside pickup for medication and food. Please call the front desk at 613-932-4094 when you arrive for pickup, or for an appointment. To improve our efficiency when clients arrive, we are now asking that you also place your hazard lights on when entering the parking lot. Once you have spoken to a receptionist or have been approached by a staff member, the hazard lights can be turned off. This will allow us to better determine if someone requires assistance.
Our current business hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm. We are closed for lunch from 12 to 1. We are closed every weekend and statutory holiday.
Please note that due to increased call volumes, we are asking clients not to leave messages on our answering machine. We simply cannot keep up with the number of messages that we are receiving on a daily basis. Please call back until you can reach one of our receptionists.
We hope that with these changes, we can continue to serve you during this pandemic. We look forward to returning to regular business hours and protocols once it is safe to do so.
Stay safe and healthy,
