I think my pet ate something that’s making him/her sick, and he/she has lost consciousness/is having seizures/trouble breathing. What should I do?

We have a veterinarian able to assist you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. During normal business hours, call us right away to advise us of the situation. We will then be able to determine how quickly we can see your pet. If your pet gets sick outside our normal hours, please call the clinic and you will be redirected to an emergency call center. They will request your name, phone number and a short description of your concerns. The emergency call center will then contact the veterinarian on call and relay your message. The veterinarian will call you to discuss the situation immediately.

There are emergency veterinary clinics available as well. Both emergency clinics are approximately an hour drive from the St. Lawrence Valley Animal Hospital. Please find there contact information below:
